AV Installer / Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AV installation, with a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving issues across various systems, including telephone, web conferencing, video, and lighting. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing AV equipment, as well as ensuring that installations meet the design and layout specifications provided.

• Installation & Setup: Install, configure, and test audiovisual equipment, including video conferencing systems, projectors, screens, microphones, and lighting fixtures.
• Troubleshooting: Effectively diagnose and resolve issues related to telephone systems, web conferencing, video displays, and lighting to ensure optimal performance.
• Equipment Handling: Load and unload AV equipment from trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transport and handling.
• Design Understanding: Interpret and implement layout and design plans for AV setups, ensuring that installations align with the client's specifications and operational needs.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on installed systems to ensure longevity and performance.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AV installation, with a proven track record of effective troubleshooting across multiple fields (telephone, web conferencing, video, and lighting).
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred. Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient in the installation and configuration of AV equipment, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport AV equipment.
• Strong ability to understand and implement AV layout and design plans.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information to clients and team members effectively.
