Job Title: AV Technician (Secret Clearance or Higher)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AV Technician with a Secret or higher security clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual installation for government or secure environments. You will be responsible for the installation, setup, and maintenance of AV systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test audio-visual equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing systems.

Ensure all installations meet security standards and guidelines associated with classified environments.

Work with project managers and team members to ensure timely and efficient installations.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV system performance and functionality.

Conduct regular maintenance and system upgrades as required.

Provide on-site support and training to end-users.

Maintain detailed documentation of installations and any troubleshooting performed.

Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance (Top Secret clearance is a plus).

3+ years of experience in audio-visual system installation.

Experience working in classified environments is highly preferred.

Proficiency with AV equipment, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, or similar systems.

Strong understanding of networking protocols and AV integration.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in AV systems (CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D).

Familiarity with video teleconferencing (VTC) setups.

Experience with control systems programming.

Work Conditions:

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
