Job Description

Hands at Home Care Services is hiring an Awake Overnight Caregiver for an urgent home care need in the Montpelier and Barre area. This role is ideal for someone calm, dependable, and able to remain awake and attentive through the full overnight shift.

This role may be a good fit for caregivers searching in Montpelier, Barre, Berlin, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Waterbury, Northfield, and nearby Central Vermont communities.

Schedule Needed

Awake overnight shifts. Exact recurring nights will be reviewed during the hiring process.

And 

Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Bonus Opportunities

  Reliability bonus opportunity: Complete 12 recurring shifts and receive priority status, meaning you will be offered new clients and open shifts first.

  Team bonus: If the home remains filled to 95% for 4 weeks, the entire home team receives a $50 bonus.

  Full-Time Referral Bonus - Up to $500: $50 after your referral completes orientation and works their first shift; $100 after they complete 2 weeks of scheduled shifts; $150 after they complete 30 days in good standing; $200 after they complete 90 days in good standing.

Your Role

• 
  

  Remain awake and alert throughout the full overnight shift

  Monitor client safety and respond to overnight needs

  Assist with toileting, transfers, snacks, reassurance, and light housekeeping as assigned

  Document care and communicate important updates to the office team
