AWS Engineer

Position Summary:  Do you want to work for a collaborative, innovative company?  Sevatec, Inc. is seeking a dynamic AWS Engineer/Architect to push the boundaries of what is possible for the Federal Government on mission critical projects that enhance national security for all Americans. The successful candidate will join a very competent DevOps teams working with top-notch AWS technologies.

Responsibilities:

·    Perform infrastructure related tasks such as automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, continuous monitoring, audit logging, etc.

• Participate in the definition of application architecture, technology stack; research new technologies, and prototype new ideas.

Required Skills and Experience:

·     IT Professional with a BS degree in computer science and/or 2 years of experience.

• Familiarity with AWS services (AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, RDS, Lambda etc.)


• Familiarity with automation/configuration management using Chef, Ansible or similar.


• 1+ years of experience with at least one development language such as Java, Python, Ruby, shell, etc.

Security Clearance:  US Citizenship is required along with the ability to obtain an Agency Suitability Clearance.
