An Assistant Directors main areas of focus is running a shift while completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Assistant Directors lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Assistant Director Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Food Preparation and cooking
- Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A's food quality and safety standards
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance team performance
- Supervise and coordinate tha activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established procedures
- Inventory management: managing inventory and ensuring property stock rotation
- Address customer concerns or complaints relation to back of house operations and implement necessary improvements
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player and set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
- Excllent leadership and team-building skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong knowledge of back of house operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety procedures
- Proficiency in managing inventory, placing orders, and controlling costs
- Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Prior experience in a kitchen leadership role.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including morning, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays, based on the needs of the restaurant
