Job Summary: Tacos 4 Life Line Cook will prep and provide every meal with excellence every time. Protecting the quality of our food is very important.

Primary Position Duties:

Job Duties:

• Follow Tacos 4 Life standard operating procedures in kitchen.


• Efficiently follow a daily prep cook list provided by management.


• Preparing and cooking ingredients for the line.( including hot prep, cold prep, grill prep, and grill fry)


• Efficiently prepare all menu items in a timely manner.


• Expediting food from kitchen to FOH staff


• Maintain cleanliness by following the station checklist.


• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.


• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.


• Assisting with stocking food truck orders


• Must be a team player and assist when and where needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.


• Multitasking skills


• Attention to detail.


• Ability to operate and handle kitchen equipment.


• Knowledgeable about Tacos 4 Life products.


• General understanding of standard operating procedures.


• Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and working at kitchen equipment.


• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.


• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds at a time


• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.


• May need to work nights, weekends, holidays on a rotating basis.
