Background Investigator III

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Annual Salary - $51, 331.28 + Full State Employment Benefits

Travel is Occasional - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

Standard work schedule for this position is M-F 2:30 - 11:00 pm.  This position is on-call 24 hours per day/7 days per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Background Investigator, Level III - 

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree and one year of professional or technical administrative* experience in business or public administration plus one year of professional business or public administration experience;

or

An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

*Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.

Job Duties - Level III

Responsible for independently researching and evaluating criminal history records and child welfare records, making determinations, interviewing individuals regarding dispositions, and maintaining relationships with local law enforcement and other state agencies.
