Bagging Operator

Job Title: Bagging Operator

Reports to: Director of Operations

Location: Sterling

Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Position Objective: The Bagging Operator is responsible for having a full understanding of the operation and grain flow within the mill, leading bag operations of birdseed and plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production. This role also aids in maintaining a positive and productive work environment while documenting all required information for SF/SF compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate auto bagging line.


• Assist with small packaging.


• Manage bag inventory.


• Manage bagged orders through easy automation.


• Transfer inventories to Merchant Ag.


• Documentation of all products bagged.


• Maintain work area in a neat, clean and organized manner.


• Assist with monthly inventory counts.


• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.


• Follow all established SOP's, GMP's and regulatory requirements.


• Follow safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Ability to work well under pressure.


• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.


• Forklift certification
