Ballet Instructor (Upper-Level Ballet, Pre-Pointe & Pointe)

At Elite Dance Academy, we believe dance is about more than technique. Our mission is to educate and inspire children through our passion for dance to be confident, happy, and strong.

We are seeking an exceptional Ballet Instructor to join our team for Summer 2026 and the 2026-2027 season. This position includes teaching upper-level ballet, pre-pointe, and pointe classes for middle and high school dancers.

We're looking for a teacher who understands that great ballet training develops both skilled dancers and strong young people. Our ideal candidate combines technical excellence with the ability to build confidence, inspire growth, and create meaningful connections with students and families.

What You'll Do

• Teach high-quality ballet, pre-pointe, and pointe classes with a focus on proper technique, strength, artistry, and injury prevention


• Create engaging, well-structured classes that challenge and inspire dancers


• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom culture where students feel seen, supported, and motivated


• Prepare students for performances, evaluations, and studio events


• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to ensure consistency and excellence across programs


• Serve as a positive role model who embodies professionalism, accountability, and integrity

What We're Looking For

• Strong ballet training and teaching experience, preferably with upper-level dancers


• Knowledge of and experience teaching multiple ballet methods


• Experience teaching pre-pointe and pointe safely and effectively


• Ability to connect with students while maintaining high standards and expectations


• Excellent classroom management and communication skills


• Dependable, organized, prepared, and team-oriented


• Passion for helping young people grow both as dancers and as individuals
