Summary:

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the production department. Assist with the emergency clean up when necessary related to hydraulic spills, machine lubrication and other items that are not conducive to a safe work environment. Maintain compliance with hazardous requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

Production Duties:

• Clean fiber, drillings and other contaminants from production machines
• Must use PPE when using air wands to blow debris from machines
• Empty fiber collection bags and remove/replace drilling Gaylord’s as needed
• Remove material bunks, pallets, trash, cardboard, and other recyclables from the production area
• Compress and band recyclable card board and stage in warehouse until shipped
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Comply with hazardous disposal requirements

Safety:

• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
• Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired though a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivation

Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to lift, carry push and pull up to 40 pounds. Employee must have the ability to complete the following repetitive tasks. Percent involved in each applicable activity is noted.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, and hardhats. Jewelry is not permitted.

Special Requirements:

Must pass:

• Pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Background check.

Shifts available dependent on current openings based on production needs : 

• Day shift M-F 6:00am-6:00pm Injection OR M-F 6am-3:30pm Production
• Night shift Su-Th 6:00pm-6:00am with 15% shift premium Injection OR Su-Th 6pm-3:30am with 15 % shift premium Production
