Band Instructor (Morning Program)

Join our team at Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, a dedicated charter school committed to fostering musical talent and a love for the arts among our students. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Band Instructor to lead morning band sessions, inspiring students to develop their musical skills and enjoy the process of learning an instrument.

Rocky Mountain Classical Academy offers a supportive and enriching environment dedicated to academic and artistic excellence. This position provides a rewarding opportunity to influence young musicians and be part of a community that values creativity and growth. 

Compensation: $2,500 per semester, totaling $5,000 for the 2026-27 school year.

Days/Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 7:45AM

• Prior experience teaching band instruments to school-aged students
• Strong knowledge of band instruments and music education principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
• Ability to work mornings from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct morning band lessons for students before school hours
• Teach and reinforce fundamental band instrument techniques
• Prepare students for performances and school events
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for student growth
• Collaborate with school staff to support the music program's objectives
