Banquet Server

• Prepares function site​s​ â€‹and â€‹assures meeting rooms​​ are​ set according to specifications.


• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.


• ​​Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas â€‹according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.​​​


• ​​​Attends and actively participates in pre-shift meetings​​​​.


• Communicates ​special â€‹requests and concerns to the department manager.


• ​​Helps to maintain clean banquet â€‹and â€‹kitchen​ areas​​.


• ​​​Oversees all equipment with care.​​


• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.


• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.


• Incorporates safe​ and sanitary​ work practices â€‹ throughout​ job performance.


• Regular and reliable attendance.


• Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees, clients and vendors.


• Performs other duties as required.

• 
  
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and​ training​.
  
  

• 
  
  Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears.

  Occasionally sits; climbs or balances.
  
  


• 
  
  Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

  Occasionally​ works in outdoor weather conditions.
