Overview 

The Barback keeps the rooftop bar running smoothly by supporting bartenders with prep, restocking, cleanliness, and speed. This role is essential to maintaining the bar’s efficiency, consistency, and signature Kampers energy. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Restock spirits, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout service. 

• Maintain bar cleanliness, including wiping surfaces, organizing stations, and removing trash and recycling. 

• Assist bartenders with prep tasks such as cutting garnishes, batching cocktails, and replenishing inventory. 

• Monitor bar flow and anticipate needs to keep service fast and efficient. 

• Support opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and station setup/breakdown. 

• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards while maintaining the rooftop’s polished, elevated atmosphere. 

Qualifications 

• Previous barback or bar experience preferred but not required. 

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. 

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast‑paced environment. 

• Team‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn bar operations. 

• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. 

Working Conditions/Environment: 

• The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.


• Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.


• The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
