Barback
Summary: As a barback you play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring the overall success of our bar operations. You are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies, and assisting with various tasks to keep the bar running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked with glassware, alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the manager of any low stock or equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area by clearing empty glasses, wiping down counters, and disposing of trash
- Ensure all bar equipment is clean and in working order
- Assist bartenders in preparing ingredients, garnishes, and glassware for cocktails
- Help bartenders during busy periods by fetching and carrying orders for them
- Interact with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, providing assistance and ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Comply with local alcohol regulations and company policies regarding the service of alcohol
Job Requirements:
- The ability to life and carry heavy objects (kegs, cases of alcohol)
- Stamina and endurance for standing and moving for extended periods of time
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barback is preferred but not required
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- A positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset
- The ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business
$12.00 / hour + tips
