Barista - FT- No Sundays or Holidays

As a Barista in our Café, we want you to focus on what's most important – creating exceptional member experiences, one opportunity at a time. This is why we are centered on ensuring our team has a sense of belonging, knows they are valued, and are given the tools to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods


• Remain knowledgeable about ACC's current beverage and food offerings and preparation techniques


• Provide excellent customer service to all members.


• Able to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor at all times.


• Understand and follow all health, food, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• At least one year of barista experience (experience as a server is a plus)


• Knowledge of how café business flows


• Passion for coffee, food, and creating unique experiences

The Barista position is a high-energy role and as such, some physical demands of the position include:

• The ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods of time


• The use of hands to handle or feel and the ability to reach with hands and arm


• The ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch


• The ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach for items below waist level or above shoulders


• The ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds


• The ability to speak loudly and clearly. This role is subject to loud noise for extended periods of time depending on the time and day of the week.

Hours of operation:

Monday-Friday= 7am-8pm

Saturday= 9:30am-8pm

Background

The Athletic Club of Columbus (ACC), is an iconic establishment. Created in 1912 by a group of business professionals interested in promoting social and athletic endeavors, the ACC remains an integral part of the Columbus business and political communities. The Club is rich in history and tradition and operates with an eye toward the future and an openness to change, diversity, and inclusion.
