THE JOB:

As a Barista for Starbucks at Luxor, you will help create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest in a fast-paced café environment. Your friendly presence and attentive service will complement the same care and quality that goes into every cup we craft. By connecting with guests and anticipating their needs, you will help deliver those small but meaningful moments that make each visit feel just right—ensuring every interaction is smooth, simple, and genuinely satisfying.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.7106 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable

• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests

• Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments

• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures

• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment

• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.

• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred

• Previous experience as a Barista in Starbucks or a similar cafe environment preferred
