Bartender

Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has openings for experienced full- and part-time bartenders in our Main Clubhouse. The location of many of the Club’s dining venues, the Clubhouse features The Highland Grille, an upscale casual dining room, as well as the Tartan Lounge, an elegant bar.

SUMMARY: Bartenders play a vital role on the Clubhouse’s Food and Beverage Team during both lunch/dinner service and special events. Responsible for creating and mixing a variety of drinks, bartenders ensure orders are served to members and guests in a timely fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares drinks for server to serve and/or serves directly to members and their guests. Performs tableside wine serve according to ICC standards.
• Receives cocktail and/or food orders at the bar and at the member’s table, when needed. Ensures the appropriate member’s account is charged for each order.
• Maintains a clean and orderly bar.
• Ensures the bar is adequately stocked, rotates inventory, and reports any shortages to the supervisor.

COMPENSATION (non-tipping): Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Managers

AVAILABILITY: Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to climb step stools of a height of 3 feet.
• Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• May be required to carry and balance loaded tray.
• Must be capable of working under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Has a general understanding and knowledge of beer and spirits.
