The Staten Island Workforce1 Career Center is partnering with River Dock Cafe to find qualified candidates for a Waitstaff position in Staten Island, New York. River Dock Cafe is a full-service restaurant offering a waterfront dining experience featuring seafood, drinks, and casual dining service. The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provide outstanding customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities include taking drink orders, mixing cocktails according to recipes and guest preferences, maintaining bar inventory, handling cash and credit card transactions, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service regulation.

The position is located in Staten Island, New York.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Take drink orders, process payments, and operate POS systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
• Follow responsible alcohol service and safety standards

• Minimum of 1 year of bartending or restaurant experience
• Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and responsible alcohol service
• Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional appearance
