Main Responsibilities of a Bartender:

Server Job Description:

Our restaurant is looking for bartenders with remarkable & engaging people skills.

The right person for this job should be able to multitask food & beverage orders. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for a bartender who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, & a positive attitude. The responsibilities of a bartender in our restaurant are to help them with drink recommendations and prepare handcrafted cocktails. All our bartenders are also responsible for handling cash & credit card transactions.

To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable experience, a great bartender should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, & reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver & a team player.

Responsibilities of a Bartender:

• Providing drink recommendations & additional information.
• Upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Ability to prepare handcrafted cocktails.
• Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Taking orders using software, order slips, or by memorization.
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food & beverages in a timely fashion.
• Delivering checks & collecting bill payments.
• Cleaning & maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.

Server Job Requirements:

• Must have prior experience as both a server and as a bartender.
• Must showcase teamwork & communication skills.
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly.
• Must be able to multitask & act quickly.
• Must be flexible & ready to work in shifts.
• Must carry at least a high school diploma.
• Must have Texas Food Handler's Certificate from http://www.certifiedonthefly.com.
• Must have TABC Certificate from http://www.tabconthefly.com.
• Background check will be performed on all applicants.
