Job Description - Bartender

The Kansas City International Airport is looking for an experienced **Bartender** to join our team! We’re known for our lively atmosphere, guest-focused service, and **handcrafted cocktails made with care**. If you’re passionate about mixology and love creating memorable guest experiences, we want to hear from you. For this position, pay will be variable by location – plus generous tips.

What You’ll Do

Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order

Taking orders and serving drinks and food to bar customers

Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following recipes and/or product directions for mixing beverages

Nurturing customers to provide exceptional guest experience

Follows all OHM customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures.

Making menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences

Ensures a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar

Checking customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age

What We’re Looking For

Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.

Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages

Requires knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation keeping updated on new and revised beverage recipes

Can communicate effectively in English

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Professional and positive disposition

Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
