Basic Machine Operator/Medical Assistant (HYBRID ROLE)

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered Basic Machine Operator/Medical Assistant to join our perioperative team in a busy office-based urology surgery center. The Basic Machine Operator / Medical Assistant is a hybrid clinical role that supports both direct patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform Basic Machine Operator duties related to diagnostic imaging as assigned
• Support providers during patient exams, procedures, treatments, and imaging services
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for physician visits
• Take vital signs and obtain a brief reason for the visit
• Assist physicians with examinations and simple in-office procedures
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Support both front-office and back-office clinical operations
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow strict HIPAA compliance standards
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations

Required

• CPR certified 
• Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO)

Education:

• Required High School or Equivalent; 
• Certified MA (Preferred)
  

Experience:

• Medical/urology office experience: 1 year (Preferred)
