Position DescriptionThis position focuses on battery testing applications, battery research, and technical communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in batteries, electrochemistry, or related fields, with a good understanding of battery testing equipment and test methods. Primary ObjectivesApply Arbin battery testing technologies to battery research and real-world applications. Conduct testing and data analysis, develop technical content, and communicate Arbin technologies to customers and the battery research community. Key Responsibility
- Understand Arbin battery testing technologies
- Learn Arbin battery testing equipment, system architecture, software, and test methods.
- Conduct battery testing and research
- Design test plans, perform experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Develop battery testing applications
- Apply Arbin technologies to battery cell, module, and pack testing.
- Develop technical content
- Write application notes, technical articles, papers, and presentations.
- Support technical communication
- Present at conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and customer events.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams
- Work with engineering, sales, marketing, customers, universities, and research institutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of battery fundamentals, battery testing principles, and battery testing equipment.
- Knowledge of electrochemistry and rechargeable battery technologies.
- Ability to design experiments and analyze battery test data.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage technical projects.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrochemistry, Battery Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Battery or electrochemical research experience preferred.
- Experience with battery cyclers, potentiostats, EIS, or related test equipment preferred.
Work EnvironmentOffice, laboratory, conference, exhibition, and customer onsite work combined.
