Beach Recreation Attendant

NOW HIRING FOR THE SUMMER SEASON! Earn $1.50 hour extra for every hour worked between June 1st and September 1st. 

The Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, Oregon is looking for a part-time Beach Recreation Attendant to be part of a summer team responsible for providing exceptional guest service with our incomparable resort amenities offered! The Beach Recreation Team members work closely with other departments to coordinate activities that create memorable visits for hotel guests. Along with providing shuttle service, other resort amenities include bonfire service with s'mores, Saturday ice cream socials, Sunday hot dog roasts, beer and cider tastings, and baking daily cookies. Other duties include property grounds-keeping for the Surfsand and Wayfarer Restaurant.

Work shift is up to 30 hours per week and must have availability on weekends. This position pays $17.50 an hour with potential for tips.

Requirements

• Oregon Food Handler card required


• OLCC preferred


• Driver's license required to provide shuttle service

- Must have a positive and friendly attitude
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass background check
