Job Title: Behavioral Health Coordinator

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Department: CB Outpatient Services

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary:
Join our compassionate and collaborative team as a Behavioral Health Coordinator, where you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of an outpatient behavioral health program. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting patients, coordinating care, and ensuring efficient clinical and administrative processes. If you are organized, detail‑oriented, and passionate about supporting individuals in their behavioral health journey, this role allows you to contribute to a positive and patient‑focused environment.

In this role, you will work closely with patients and providers to support scheduling, documentation, and program operations while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage patient appointment scheduling
· Collaborate with providers to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and workflows
· Maintain and update patient information within the electronic health record (EHR)
· Prepare and support daily clinical operations and patient flow
· Assist with organization and setup of materials, instruments, and equipment
· Provide compassionate and professional support to patients and their families
· Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation
· Follow established clinical and office procedures
· Ensure a high level of accuracy in all tasks and documentation
· Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, staff, and visitors
· Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
· Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred

· Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service or patient-facing role preferred

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to build rapport with patients and team members
· Strong organizational and time‑management skills
· Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
· Proficiency with computers and ability to learn electronic health record systems
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
· Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Physical Requirements
· Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
· Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and documentation
· Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing
· Ability to meet the physical demands of a sedentary work environment
