Behavioral Health Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Charting: Review and sign off on BHT charting to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and state regulations.
  
• Team Management: Supervise and manage the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) team, providing guidance, support, and oversight.
  
• Counseling: Conduct individual counseling sessions to support clients' mental health and well -being.
  
• Group Therapy: Facilitate group counseling sessions via telehealth, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  
• Compliance: Ensure all activities and documentation comply with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and team activities, and provide regular updates to the administration.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest best practices and advancements in social work and mental health.
  
• Hourly Commitment: 15 - 20 hours virtually a week.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with a diverse client population.
  
• Specialized training or certification in a specific area of mental health (e.g., trauma, DUI, substance abuse).
  
• Familiarity with BHT roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Licensures: Must hold a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with experience in telehealth preferred.
  
• Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ethics: Strong understanding of ethical practices and confidentiality requirements in mental health care.
  
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing needs and work effectively in a remote setting.
  
• Fingerprint Clearance: Must pass a fingerprint clearance background check.
  
• First Aid/CPR Certification: Must hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
