Position Summary
The Bid Analyst is responsible for RFP setup, data management, operational reporting, document management and various initiatives. You will provide data, clerical, and administrative support in an effective and efficient manner. Individuals in this position should have effective multi-tasking abilities with a positive and helpful disposition. You will also need to maintain a good sense of priorities as you provide support. You will maintain a positive relationship with our team members, management, and operations teams. We expect you to develop industry skills and to have the ability to work independently. You will work with sensitive company information that must be kept confidential. This job is on-site in Mount Airy, NC or Charlotte, NC reporting to the Director of Contracting Management.
Essential Functions:
Under minimal supervision, the Bid Analyst will:
• Provide data collection and RFP/RFI entry into Procore; manage internal spreadsheets/databases for reporting purposes
• Create, update, maintain and communicate various reporting and tracking metrics
• Troubleshoot data integrity or inconsistency issues
• Manage document submissions and record retention
• Communicate verbal and written communication to multiple internal departments
Minimum Requirements:
• Regular attendance is required
• High School Diploma and minimum of 1-3 years of related construction industry work experience; Four-year degree is preferred
• Handle highly confidential information and exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment
• Working knowledge of computers and software applications with MS office application proficiency; Experience with Procore is preferred
• Demonstrated skills in written communications; Ability to compose basic as well as complex documents
• Demonstrated skills in oral communication
• High energy level with the ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
• Experience developing and maintaining internal and external relationships while navigating organizational barriers
• High commitment to achieving goals and plans
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
• Help with multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously
• High attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Collaborate with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
