If you’re organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven, our open Bid Coordinator position is your next opportunity. You’ll put your finance, math or accounting skills to work alongside our sales and design team to assemble accurate, on-time, competitive bids.

You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely proposals for our sales team, ensuring that they will be able to present and win an above-average percentage of the jobs they propose. Externally, you’ll collaborate with vendors and sub-contractors to stay up-to-date on product, supply and sub-contractor prices. Internally, you’ll work with our project management and operations management team to stay on top of production capabilities and timelines. We are happy to train the right candidate who is a highly organized, detail-oriented, star communicator.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Review proposal specifications submitted by salesperson through the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system

· If necessary, meet with salesperson and/or client for clarification

· Visually inspect potential job sites, performing on-site measurements if required to estimate the labor and equipment required

· Collect quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers

· Work with Project and Operations Managers and branch buyers to answer any questions about product

· Compute cost proposal by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements

· Build proposal in current bidding software

· Use CRM to submit accurate proposals to salesperson in a timely manner

· Perform analysis on previous proposals to determine accuracy and opportunities for improvement

· Understand and use appropriate estimating principles in creating proposals

Qualifications & Skills:

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

· Ability to read site plans

· Excellent math proficiency to accurately establish a finalized estimate

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Ability to establish proficiency in estimating software, CRM, and Microsoft Office environment
