Job Description - Bilingual Community-Based Therapist - Temporary

The Bilingual Community-Based Therapist coordinates services and planning for children who are referred through their school District IEP team and are experiencing challenges in successfully accessing their education. Services will be provided in the home and community settings, alongside coordinating services as needed at school sites. Therapists engage clients in meaningful and authentic relationships, while providing a safe, predictable, and positive environment that aligns with our client's values and cultures.


About All In!  


The All-In! So Cal program serves youth and families referred by their local school district in Orange County. The team consist of behavioral interventionists, therapists, and parent partners. Together, the team provides unconditional support to children whose academics are impacted by their mental health. Services are held in family homes, community locations, school sites, office locations, etc.

Responsibilities:



  • Complete mental health notes, incident reports, and other documentation as necessary in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner.

  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments with treatment plans to direct service delivery.

  • Form consultation relationships with school staff, including general and special educators and school leadership.

  • Provide non-judgmental, unconditional support to children and families participating in the Seneca Programs.

  • Provide case management, coordination of care and crisis management services as needed.

  • Facilitate client sessions, attend trainings, individual supervision, and group supervision.

  • Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to plan, manage and supervise students’ treatment plans.

  • Engage families in the treatment planning process.

  • Provide strength-based and culturally competent services.

  • Participate in professional learning communities to enhance practice and create coherence.

  • Maintain a client and family driven schedule that may include early mornings and evenings.

  • Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation.

  • Comply with all child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi-Cal requirements in accordance with standards set by Seneca.

  • Uphold strict confidentiality of client information. 

  • Travel throughout Orange County with mileage reimbursement.

  • Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's EQ-4 model training.  


Qualifications:




  • Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling.


  • Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed



  • Bilingual Spanish/English

  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • At least 21 years of age.

  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy.


Schedule



  • Full-time, Temporary

    • Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm

    • Client driven schedule, start and end time may vary upon need



  • Hybrid, provide in-person services & complete documentation remotely

    • Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification
