Bilingual Homecare Representative

European Service at Home is searching for a self-motivated and well-organized Homecare Representative

The Homecare Representative travels locally to conduct in-home visits at each client’s home. Home visits consist of monitoring and reporting on the quality of services provided by direct care staff (Home Care Aides) and determining whether existing care plans are adequate to meet the client's needs.

Start Rate: $21-22.00 (BOE) plus mileage reimbursement at 0.70 cents per mile.

Job duties:

• Responsible for in-home monitoring of clients’ condition and performance of duties by Home Care Aides.
• Observe and evaluate Home Care Aides in the client’s home as directed by the supervisor to assure client Care Plans are being followed. Daily wellness calls to the client, as needed. Complete weekly status reports.
• Responsible for the HCA hiring 
• Arrange and conduct home visits as necessary when significant changes in physical and/or environmental changes have been reported.
• Advise the supervisor relative to observations made while on assignment, which will serve to improve the quality of service offered.
• Personally substitute the caregivers as needed
• Contact the supervisor to report unusual health, environmental, or family situations.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Excellent human relations skills and record-keeping
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A high school diploma or general education diploma
• DL, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
• Basic computer knowledge
