Own the people side of the site
By 7:00 AM the floor in Kenosha is moving, and you are the one making sure every seat is filled with the right people. If you have done recruiting or HR work and you want to do it out on the floor instead of behind a desk, this role was built for you.
As a Bilingual Onsite Supervisor, you are the face of Midway Staffing at our Kenosha client site. This is a recruiting and HR seat first. You find and screen the people, get them onboarded and confident on day one, and stay the person they come to when something comes up. You do it in English and in Spanish, because that is how this workforce talks.
Your hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. This is a full-time, permanent role, and we are looking for someone who can step in with experience and stay flexible when the week does not go exactly to plan.
Why Midway Staffing
Midway Staffing is one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country, and we got there by doing things differently. We do not just fill open seats. We connect great people with great opportunities, solve real problems for our clients, and build relationships that last.
When you join us, you join a team that follows through, pushes past obstacles, and wins together. That is not a slogan on a wall. It is how we operate every single day.
•Reliable. We follow through, every time. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.
•Relentless. We push past challenges to deliver results and uncover opportunities.
•Team Player. We succeed together and support one another to do what others call impossible.
What you will do
•Recruit, source, and screen candidates to keep the Kenosha client fully staffed
•Post jobs, work the job boards, and turn phone calls into first days
•Review resumes, interview candidates in person and by phone, and spot the right fit for each role
•Own onboarding end to end, from background checks to new hire paperwork, and keep every file complete and compliant
•Lead safety training and first-day logistics so new hires feel welcomed and set up to succeed
•Handle associate concerns and HR conversations with care and confidentiality
•Support payroll by reviewing hours, processing timecards, and approving them accurately and on time
•Prepare daily reports on rosters, attendance, and safety
•Be the go-to contact for the client's leadership team and every associate on your shift
•Partner with recruiters and leadership on staffing plans that hit hiring goals
What this job is actually like
Days move fast. Some start steady. Others start with three call-offs before the first break and a client who needs people by lunch, and it is on you to work your pipeline, make the calls, and fill the gaps without losing your cool. By 3:00 PM, the goal is simple: tomorrow is already covered and nobody is left guessing.
You will be talking to people all shift long, in English and in Spanish, and a lot of those conversations are with someone who is nervous, frustrated, or brand new. Explaining a safety rule, sorting out a check that looks off, hearing what is really going on with someone who has been missing days. The supervisors our associates trust are the ones who make rapport quickly, listen before they answer, and follow through on what they say. Some of what you hear needs to stay between you and HR, and you handle it that way. The client notices all of it.
Nobody is standing over your shoulder. You will get support from leadership, but on your site, you are the one making calls. If you see a problem, you fix it or you flag it. That is why we are looking for someone who has already done recruiting or HR work and knows what it takes.
What you need to bring
•Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must. You will use both languages every single shift.
•Recruiting or HR experience is required. Staffing experience is a big plus.
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Reliable transportation
•Comfortable with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite, plus experience using an Applicant Tracking System
•Flexibility to help on weekends when the operation calls for it
What you get
•Weekly pay at $22.50/hour
•A full-time, permanent role with a steady Monday through Friday schedule
•Afternoons free, with a 3:00 PM finish
•Real career growth with clear pathways inside one of the fastest-growing light industrial staffing firms in the country
•A team that has your back and a mission you can be proud of
