Job title: Bilingual Parent Educator

The Bilingual Parent Educator delivers home-based services to families on an assigned caseload, including individualized visits, parent-child activities, developmental screenings, and connection to community resources. Services are guided by the agency’s mission, aligned with First Things First (FTF) contract requirements, and delivered using strengths-based, evidence-informed, culturally responsive practices.

In this role you will:

• Deliver individualized parenting support using approved, evidence-informed curricula per contract guidelines and Side by Side program procedures.


• Establish and maintain relationships with families to provide support for parenting practices, child development, and school readiness.


• Conduct assessments and facilitate goal setting with families to create and implement Family Support Plans tailored to family strengths, needs, and cultural values.


• Promote understanding and use of developmental, vision, and hearing screening results, and supports referrals to services such as AzEIP and local school districts when needed.


• Maintain strict confidentiality of all child and family information in compliance with applicable state/federal privacy laws.


• Manage caseloads and schedules home visits, ensuring family needs are prioritized and program timelines and service expectations are met.


• Identify and address barriers to engagement, determines appropriate supports, and makes referrals to community or crisis resources.


• Complete accurate and timely documentation of all services, including assessments, visit notes, family plans, referrals, and required screenings per program standards.


• Ensure data reflects the quality, content, and outcomes of services provided and supports ongoing case planning and quality assurance.


• Maintain records that are audit-ready and compliant with all reporting, privacy, and data integrity requirements.


• Align service delivery with contractual performance measures, documentation requirements, and agency policies.


• Participate in case reviews, training, and staff meetings to support coordinated service delivery and continuous program improvement.

What it takes:

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)


• A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related


• Master's degree preferred 


• Possess an insured & reliable vehicle and a valid Arizona driver’s license


• CPR and First Aid Certification Required


• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card


• FPC DPS Verification Required


• DES Criminal Affidavit Required


• AZ DHS Criminal History Affidavit Required
