As a Bilingual Recruiter, will represent Corovan’s brand and aid in recruiting and hiring talent. Whether you are mining resumes via a resume database, pre-screening applicants or networking with employees to obtain referrals, you will have an eye on the staffing needs of Corovan. Responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring candidates and collaborating cross-functionally to build and refine internal partnerships.
The Bilingual Recruiter is responsible for making a significant contribution to the strategy of recruiting, for finding qualified candidates and for helping convince qualified candidates to join our team. Must be comfortable with full cycle recruiting and using the HRIS system to track candidate status.

QUALIFICATIONS:

COMPETENCIES:
· ORGANIZATION SKILLS - Organization skills with ability to juggle multiple assignments and tasks.
· LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as procedures, work instructions, and timesheets. Must effectively communicate with customer and coworkers.
· MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
1. Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information required.
2. Ability to meet operational deadlines, including monthly hire goals.
3. Great people judgment and ability to relate to people of all backgrounds and experiences.
4. Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software is a plus, proficient in Word, Excel & Power Point.
5. Excellent communication interpersonal skills. Strong customer/ client focused.
6. Ability to effectively communicate with prospected new hires in both English and Spanish.
7. Ability to translate job descriptions, recruitment ads and other materials from English to Spanish.
8. General understanding about Human Resources operations.
9. Strong talent focus and ability to sort through applicant background, skills, interests, motivation and culture fit for the role/company.
TRAVEL:
As required, the employee can travel less than 25% to other worksites and or recruiting locations. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. This position will require to be on-site at both locations, San Jose and or San Leandro based on the recruiting needs of the location.
PRIMARY LOCATION:
San Leandro. At times, there maybe days in SJ based on recruiting needs to back up another recruiter.

3. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction, reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required.
4. Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
6. Vision: Reads paperwork and records on the computer.
7. Talking: Communications by phone, email, text and in person.
8. Sitting: May sit at desk. May sit for long periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This list is not all inclusive.
1. Temp/Weather: Works in Office environment - for the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment.
2. Noise: Works in office environment with constant or intermittent noise.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
1. Hourly, full time non-exempt position.
2. Employees might be required to work late evenings or weekends depending on the business needs.
3. All Overtime must be approved by the manager before working.
TRAVEL:
25% travel to job fairs and other local branches.
