ABOUT THE ROLE
Seneca’s School Partnership Programs are hiring for a School Culture and Climate Specialist (also known as an Unconditional Education (UE) Coach) to support K-5th grade to success at Glen Park School (Spanish Bilingual School) in San Francisco, CA. Through implementation of the Unconditional Education (UE) Model, Seneca’s UE Coaches empower schools with the skills and resources to implement a multi-tiered system of support. As a School Culture and Climate Specialist, you'll lead a diverse team in assessing and addressing the culture and climate needs of the school, devising an annual implementation plan and undergo specialized training to lead a team and implement School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS). Your role extends to facilitating ongoing evaluation and improvement initiatives while overseeing the Coordination of Services Team (COST) and providing professional development and training to school staff and caregivers, supporting the development of trauma-informed and healing-centered practices.

Seneca’s TrUE SF Program partners with 8+ schools in San Francisco Unified School District and Public Charter Schools to implement elements of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).Our team is comprised of School Climate Specialists, School-Based Therapists, and Student Support Assistants. Our staff implement strategies that range from creating, implementing and monitoring trauma-informed school-wide systems to individualized therapy and targeted behavioral support for students with the highest levels of need. Responsibilities:
Lead a culture and climate team to evaluate the school's overall environment and tiered intervention practices, incorporating community input to develop a targeted annual improvement plan
Lead the implementation of School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) and Trauma-Informed Practices
Lead or co-lead a transdisciplinary Coordination of Services Team (COST) to enhance collaboration among school staff and service providers, ensuring a data-driven approach to identifying student needs, coordinating interventions, and monitoring progress for improved student outcomes
Provide school-wide professional development and individualized staff coaching to equip educators with the skills to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Facilitate evaluation and program improvement assessment activities onsite
Serve as on-site manager for Seneca team members if applicable
Plan, lead and coach student group activities social skills groups
Complete required data collection and service documentation to measure the effectiveness of services, inform team decision making, and/or engage in service billing
Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training
Qualifications:
Education/Experience requirements:
Master’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, social work, a related field, OR
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of applicable experience
Prior experience working in schools and/or navigating school systems is required
Bilingual in Spanish and English required
Demonstrated record of effectively leading other adults in creating change
Two years working full-time in a school setting preferred
Reliable transportation to and from the school site and other occasional meeting locations or Valid California Driver's License (will vary by job/program)
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
Schedule:
School based schedule:
Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 4:30 PM (ability to work occasional flexible schedule when school needs vary)
5 weeks of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 14 paid school break days
Benefits:
Starting at $98,340 - $112,340 per year
Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications
