Body Shop Manager

Chevrolet Of Troy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair department in Troy, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality service to our customers. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in automotive body repair. Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the body shop, ensuring efficiency and quality in all repair work.


• Supervise and mentor body shop technicians, providing training and support as needed.


• Coordinate workflow, manage scheduling, and ensure timely completion of repairs.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.


• Handle customer inquiries, estimates, and resolve any issues that arise professionally and promptly.


• Maintain inventory and order necessary parts and supplies.


• Collaborate with insurance companies and vendors to facilitate smooth repair processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive body shop management or related role.


• Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and techniques.


• Excellent leadership and team management skills.


• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.


• Familiarity with insurance claim procedures and vendor relations.


• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
