Body Shop Technician

Seidel Hyundai is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in Reading, PA. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models, possess a strong attention to detail, and be committed to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening


• Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage and necessary repairs


• Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete body work in a timely and professional manner


• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area


• Collaborate with other team members to ensure repair quality meets Seidel Hyundai standards


• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair status

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role


• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and materials


• Ability to operate body shop equipment and tools safely


• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship


• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
