UAF Photo Lab is a professional photographic lab located in Ontario, Canada.  We provide photographic prints, albums and products for photographers worldwide.  All photographic albums created at UAF Photo Lab are handcrafted we have developed a reputation for having high quality products, customer service and creating a professional relationship with professional photographers.

We are seeking a Bookbinder/Photo Album crafter to join our team. Our ideal candidate has experience with making album covers and assembling albums. You should also have some mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues with equipment. This is partially a quality assurance role, so the ability to understand the parameters of each job and an eye for detail are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate small press machinery
• Ensure production quality of printed products and application of finishing  (Quality Control)
• Ensure quality of packaging and preparation for courier
• Follow all safety rules and regulations

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Ability to work independently in a small business environment
• Ability to comprehend instructions. 
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions.
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience making/building photo albums
• Mechanical skills
• Solid problem solving abilities; detail-oriented and resourceful.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. on Rare occasions may be required to lift/move up to 40lbs
• Required to use hands for fine manipulations; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination and finger dexterity.
• Must have the ability to use tools such as sharp objects used for cutting
