Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in managing the company’s financial health. This position requires someone who is not just transactional, but also proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable working closely with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable


• Process invoices, collections, and vendor payments with accuracy and urgency


• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial records regularly


• Maintain real-time visibility into company cash flow and flag issues proactively


• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for the CEO


• Assist the CEO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning


• Oversee payroll processing and vendor/contractor payments


• Track job-specific expenses and ensure accurate billing in coordination with operations


• Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and tax preparation


• Work closely with external accountants/CPAs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Full-Charge Bookkeeper


• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles


• Experience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)


• High level of discretion and trustworthiness (you’ll be working directly with the CEO)


• Strong attention to detail and ability to catch discrepancies quickly


• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent communication and reporting skills
