Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Manhattan. This is a full-time position for a hands-on professional who can work independently and manage the full accounting cycle, from bookkeeping through balance sheet preparation. The ideal candidate has strong working knowledge of NetSuite and a proven track record managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking activities.

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping through the balance sheet level
• Issue and track Purchase Orders (POs)
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Process accounts payable and manage vendor payments
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in NetSuite
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/clients on financial matters
• Liaise with external accountants/CPAs to support tax filings, audits, and financial reporting requirements

• Proven experience as an Accountant/ bookkeeper, with responsibility through balance sheet level
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
