Branch Manager

We are looking for a talented Branch Manager to join our team specializing in General Management for Cummins, Inc. in Roanoke, VA.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

• Lead and oversee single location ensuring alignment with company goals. 


• Own full P&L accountability and performance across all branch financial and operational metrics.


• Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan in partnership with Business Development and branch leadership. 


• Monitor key performance indicators (balanced scorecards, asset utilization, profitability) and drive corrective actions.


• Drive market growth through sales and marketing plans, while building strong customer and partner relationships. 


• Ensure high customer satisfaction (NPS/Lens of Customer) and foster a strong customer service culture across the branch. 


• Lead talent strategy- recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.


• Ensure operational excellence and compliance, including warranty management, cycle time improvements, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• Communicates effectively - Tailor communication to your audience. Adjust messaging for customers, technicians, and leadership. Be clear, concise, and action-oriented; reinforce priorities regularly.

• Customer focus - Build strong relationships with key customers and anticipate needs. Translate customer expectations into actionable service plans. Drive responsiveness, quality, and issue resolution to improve satisfaction.

• Influence the Health, Safety and Environmental Culture - Champion a strong health, safety, and environmental culture. Lead by example and hold teams accountable to safety standards. Integrate safety into daily operations and decision-making.

• Service Capability, Capacity and Coverage - Use service capability metrics to identify gaps and prioritize improvements. Align technician capacity, skills, parts, and tools to demand. Continuously improve coverage, efficiency, and service consistency across the branch.

Education/Experience:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in required Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required.

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required.

• Significant relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.
