Breakfast Attendant

The Complimentary Breakfast Cook / Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, and maintaining the daily complimentary breakfast service at the Marriott Residence Inn at Patriot’s Point. This role blends light cooking with guest service to create a warm, efficient, and welcoming breakfast experience for hotel guests.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys early mornings, consistent menus, and positive guest interaction in a supportive hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Marriott Residence Inn complimentary breakfast items following brand standards
• Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast buffet and service areas
• Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation throughout service
• Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and breakfast areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Assist with inventory, rotation, and proper food storage
• Interact professionally with guests and respond to basic food-related questions
• Support opening-team training, setup, and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Previous food service, breakfast, or kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking and food safety practices (ServSafe a plus)
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
