Via Elegante Assisted Living and Memory Care is the premier provider of Assisted Living and Memory Care services in Southern Arizona. Family-owned and operated since 2003, we are a growing company made up of professionals who take pride in creating a supportive, team-oriented environment.

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Breakfast/Lunch Cook with 3–5 years of kitchen, dining service, or hospitality experience to join our culinary team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen but is looking for long-term stability, career growth, and a workplace that values its employees. In this role, you'll work closely with our Sous Chef, help prepare meals for residents, and gain hands-on experience that can lead to advancement.

Working from our Tucson Mountains community, you will help provide nutritious and enjoyable meals for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  Preparing food and beverages under the direction of the Sous Chef and Facility Director

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with menu preparation and meal service

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing meals for residents, including special dietary needs

  
  


• 
  

  Performing food temperature checks according to county health standards

  
  


• 
  

  Logging temperatures and labeling food per health department requirements

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with inventory management and restocking

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas

  
  


• 
  

  Performing closing duties to shut down the kitchen

  
  


• 
  

  Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the community

  
  


• 
  

  Delivering meals to our Foothills location using a company food delivery van

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  21 years of age or older

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or GED

  
  


• 
  

  3–5 years of kitchen, dining service, or hospitality experience

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation

  
  


• 
  

  Clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can assist with the process)

  
  


• Ability to obtain Arizona Memory Care Certification (within 30 days of hire)
