Brick Mason

Position Summary:

Our Mason is responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring chimneys, fireplaces, and other masonry structures. This role requires skilled workmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Our Masons will work independently and collaboratively to ensure projects meet both company and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, repair, and restore chimneys, fireplaces, walls, and other masonry structures using brick, stone, and mortar.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to complete projects accurately.
• Inspect work sites to ensure safety compliance and adherence to building codes.
• Prepare materials, mix mortar, and set stones or bricks according to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with site cleanup, demolition, and preparation tasks as needed.
• Identify and report potential issues or hazards on the job site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mason or in masonry/construction work

Knowledge of brick, stone, and block installation, repair, and restoration

Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions

Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights

Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in chimney, fireplace, or similar specialized masonry work

3+ years of professional masonry experience

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team environment

Valid driver’s license

Pass a Background and drug screening

Working Conditions:

Work performed primarily outdoors, exposed to weather conditions

May involve heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
