Broiler Cook - Bancroft Chophouse

The Bancroft Chophouse is seeking a skilled and passionate Broiler Cook to join our team. If you take pride in preparing exceptional steaks with precision, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and are committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook premium steaks and other proteins to precise temperatures and specifications.
• Operate and maintain high-temperature broilers safely and efficiently.
• Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control on every plate.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to execute service smoothly during high-volume periods.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Follow all recipes, preparation methods, and restaurant standards.
• Assist with prep work and station setup before service and breakdown after service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of steak cuts, cooking temperatures, and meat preparation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high culinary standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
• Willingness to learn new recipes, techniques, and stations. 
• A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts is a plus!
