ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Bulk Cement Tanker Driver safely transports, loads, and unloads bulk cement while conducting thorough vehicle inspections, maintaining equipment, and utilizing truck tracking software to ensure efficient operations.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)

1. Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.


2. Properly load and unload material.


3. Ensure proper use of truck tracking software.


4. Work with central dispatch and plant supervisor for daily schedule.


5. Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending safety and required training.


6. Available to work as needed, overtime, nights, and weekends.


7. Regular attendance required.


8. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.


9. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)

1. Must have a CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) license with tanker endorsement.


2. Must be able to maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.


3. Must be self-motivated, team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.


4. Ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.


5. Bulk truck driving experience, preferred.
