About Our Client
Our client is a fee-only fiduciary wealth management firm rooted in biblical wisdom and sound stewardship principles. Their Business Consulting Division (BCD) works with family-owned and closely held businesses across the full lifecycle — from corporate governance and strategic planning to M&A advisory and succession planning. The BCD team brings 80+ years of collective advisory experience and a deeply integrated, values-driven approach that sets them apart from traditional consulting firms.

 

The Role
We're hiring a Business Consulting Associate to support the BCD's growing demand for advisory services across national field offices and direct client relationships. You'll sit inside a lean, high-caliber team — building financial models, developing client-facing materials, and supporting advisors in delivering strategic consulting engagements to business owners and high-net-worth families.

This is a role for someone who wants to do real work — not coordinate it.

 

What You'll Do
- Build complex financial models including projections, rate-of-return metrics, and transaction scenarios
- Analyze industry and transactional databases to evaluate market positions and corporate valuations
- Develop high-quality reports and presentations for client and advisor use
- Support client meetings — prep, note-taking, follow-up, and outside advisor coordination
- Assist Financial Advisors (FAs) with business development planning, engagement letters, and fee quoting
- Develop internal training materials and support ongoing FA education on business consulting topics
- Maintain and improve marketing materials for BCD service offerings
- Build relationships with third-party providers — legal, investment banking, PE, valuation, and leadership development

 

The Path
The Business Consulting Associate seat is designed for progression. You'll develop deep technical expertise in financial planning, business consulting, and client management — with a clear path toward a senior advisory role within BCD as you build your track record.

 

Who We're Looking For
- 3–8 years in business consulting, accounting, financial services, and/or investment banking (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field
- Strong command of business financial statement analysis
- Confident working directly with high-net-worth clients and business owners
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Strong communicator — written, verbal, and in client-facing settings
- Trustworthy with confidential information
- Team player who knows when to delegate and when to own it

 

Nice to Have
- Experience in M&A advisory, succession planning, or corporate governance
- Familiarity with business valuation methodologies
- CPA, CFA, or similar credential (or in progress)
- Experience working with family-owned or closely held businesses

 

Compensation

- Up to 20% travel required
