Job Summary
The Business Continuity Coordinator will coordinate emergency management and business continuity activities for the facility which include the development, documentation, maintenance, and implementation of plans and procedures for emergency management, business continuity and healthcare continuity and recovery strategies and solutions; coordinate emergency management and business continuity trainings and exercises; act as a coordinator for emergency management, continuity and recovery efforts after a disruption; and implement all business continuity/healthcare continuity and recovery grant requirements for the facility.Pay Range
Minimum $29.48 Midpoint $39.04 Maximum $48.61Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
* Required: Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting the coordination of preparedness and response recovery processes associated with healthcare emergency management.
* Preferred: Three (3) years of professional experience in business continuity, emergency management/disaster preparedness, risk management or related field. Previous teaching and training experience highly preferred.
Education
* Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree

* Required: None Required
Specialized Skills
* Required: Demonstrates fluency in English communication to include reading, writing and verbal communication. Ability to establish positive interpersonal skills with facility staff to engage their support and cooperation in developing, updating and implementing the business continuity program. Understands knowledge and skills in leadership and management. Computer knowledge of business applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of Federal (National Incident Management System, NIMS) State (Standardized Emergency Management System, SEMS) and local emergency management systems.
Licensure
* Required: ICS 100, 200 & 700. ICS 800 - Required within three (3) months of start date or transfer.
* Preferred: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP); Certified Healthcare Provider Continuity Professional (CHPCP); Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) certification; Certified Emergency Management (CEM) certification; Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP); Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP).
