Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results -driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives within the independent insurance agency sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the insurance industry and a passion for business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the independent insurance agency market.
  
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their specific needs and challenges.
  
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to tailor our IT solutions to meet client requirements and enhance service offerings.
  
• Brand Promotion: Represent SMART IT Services at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the insurance industry.
  
• Strong networking skills with established industry relationships.
  
• Experience working in the insurance sector is a significant plus.
  
• A general understanding of IT solutions relevant to insurance agencies is preferred but not required.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  
• Self -motivated with a results -oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
