Business Development Manager

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by developing strategic relationships, expanding referral partnerships, and executing local market growth initiatives. This role combines consultative business development, community engagement, and localized marketing to strengthen FRSTeam's presence within the insurance and restoration industry. The Business Development Manager serves as a brand ambassador, building long-term partnerships, generating qualified opportunities, and increasing market awareness through both relationship-driven and digital strategies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual business development and local market growth plans aligned with company objectives and revenue goals.


• Build, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with insurance carriers, adjusters, restoration contractors, property managers, commercial customers, and other referral partners.


• Generate new business through consultative selling, networking, referrals, presentations, community involvement, cold outreach, and strategic follow-up.


• Partner with leadership to execute local marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, strengthen market presence, and drive qualified lead generation.


• Support the local digital marketing strategy through Google Business Profile optimization, local SEO, online reputation management, website content recommendations, and other lead generation efforts.


• Develop and publish engaging social media content highlighting completed projects, customer success stories, educational resources, community involvement, and company culture while maintaining brand standards.


• Monitor, analyze, and report on sales pipeline activity, marketing effectiveness, referral partner engagement, and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.


• Clearly communicate FRSTeam's capabilities, operational excellence, and service solutions to prospective customers and referral partners through both in-person and digital interactions.


• Represent FRSTeam professionally at industry associations, trade organizations, networking events, and community functions to strengthen brand awareness and expand business relationships.


• Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools to manage opportunities, maintain accurate records, forecast pipeline activity, and measure business development performance.


• Maintain accountability for revenue growth, referral source development, customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, and other key performance indicators established by leadership.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, account management, or a related customer-facing role with a demonstrated record of driving revenue growth.


• Experience developing strategic business relationships and managing a sales pipeline from prospecting through ongoing account development.


• Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and the ability to leverage technology to manage opportunities and measure performance.


• Experience supporting digital marketing initiatives, including Google Business Profile, local SEO, online reputation management, social media, and content marketing.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content and deliver professional presentations.


• Ability to interpret sales and marketing data, identify trends, and adjust strategies to improve business results.


• Highly organized with strong time management, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
