A family-owned premium seafood producer is hiring a Business Development Manager to open new accounts by phone. The company is a category leader coming off the best year in its history, and it's building a more structured sales team around prospecting. You'll work from the office, calling restaurants, distributors, and grocery chains that buy from a competitor today and winning them over through real pricing and relationship conversations. You'll also take over a book of loyal, smaller accounts from a retiring rep. Those accounts carry the highest commission rate in the company. You'll report directly to the President. This is an inside, phone-first role, not a field territory. Food experience is a plus, not a requirement, and product training is provided.

Term: Full Time, Direct Hire

Location: North Seattle, WA, USA (Fully On-site)

Compensation: $65,000/year base + uncapped commission ($150,000 to $200,000+ OTE)

Desired Qualifications:

2+ years in a quota-carrying new-business role where you prospected and closed your own deals

Most of your new business won by phone from a desk, not by driving a territory and walking into accounts

Track record of high daily call activity with measurable results (accounts opened, quota attainment, rankings)

Holds longer consultative conversations on pricing and needs, not just quick pitches or appointment setting

Grows existing accounts alongside hunting, with strong follow-up discipline

Ramps quickly on new products; comfortable selling off company-set daily pricing

Food, frozen, seafood, or commodity sales into restaurants, distributors, or grocery is a plus

CRM discipline; HubSpot is a plus

Genuinely wants to work on-site 5 days a week with a close-knit sales team
