New position as a Business Development Manager working with an award winning security platform, which is becoming the industry standard incident response solution.
The Manager of Business Development is responsible for on-site team leadership of the inside sales team. This position requires someone to be very hands-on that will apply mastered sales coaching to reps and drive metrics-based discipline. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in managing people, process, and technology to drive best-in-class performance.
Responsibilities
Manage Business Development organization to goals, objectives and quota achievement
Manage a diverse mix of territory and vertical based sales development positions with responsibilities of inbound and outbound prospecting
Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and coach BDRs
Monitor and refine sales lead processes and metrics
Manage territory assignment
Ensure the effective use of Salesforce.com
Compile weekly/monthly team reports, modify as needed
Proactively work to improve the cadence and throughput of the assigned sales development resources
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a positive working relationship and maximize the impact and effectiveness of sales development
Work with marketing to ensure efficient prospect/customer information exchange and hand-off
Remove roadblocks to BDR success
MUST HAVE SKILLS
Basic Knowledge in sales/prospecting
Bachelor's Degree
